EDGE Student Ministries
EDGE is our dynamic, energetic and community-based youth ministry for middle school and high school students to explore faith in Jesus Christ and how to fulfill His will for their lives.
By the guidance and power of the Holy Spirit, we:
EDGE – Jr. High & Sr. High Together
We are currently meeting on Wednesday evenings from 6:30pm-9:00pm. We spend much of the time playing various team-building games/sports, but we also investigate and apply God's Word, spend time in worship and prayer as well as connecting with one another in small groups. Students have a chance to discover and share who they are; their joys, struggles, hurts, questions and passions.

Why EDGE? Students at this age are on the EDGE of entering into adulthood. They are also at the precipice of making decisions that will have an eternal and lifelong impact. It is our prayer that they will make that step of faith and embrace the journey God has for them.
S.O.S. OPPORTUNITIES
S.O.S. (Service over Self) is a ministry that helps our students to recognize needs outside of just themselves. We are always looking to equip our students with opportunities to go out and serve those in the community who find themselves in need. We participate in LGCC's monthly Serve Saturday by serving at the church and within different communities. We regularly serve with Faith Acres in Island Lake, Matthew Homes in North Chicago, and New Life Resale in Wauconda.
