Our Women's Ministry team commits to equip women to know Jesus Christ intimately, to know each other personally, to know themselves and their callings confidently, and to provide opportunities to serve.  We promote encounters where the Word of God is at the heart and provide places of connections and relationships for women and to outreach to the community through service.

Each of our Women's Ministry events is open to women of all ages and in all stages of spiritual life.  Each event include Bible teaching that reminds us of the truths of scripture. 

Future events are:

April One Day Women's Retreat - Saturday, April 17, 2010 at Conference Point Center in Williams Bay, WI.  Learn more about "Living a Life that Makes an Eternal Difference".  Mary Hamrick from Dragonfly Ministries will be our Leader and Cassidy Glo will lead us in Worship.  Carpool with us from the church parking lot for a relaxing, enjoyable day.  The cost of the retreat is $20 which includes three meals and supplies.  E-mail us at women.pray@lgcc2day with your telephone number to sign up or with questions. 

Past events include:

February Day Spa - Our Spa Day was a day of pampering, care of the body, and discovery of God's promises in Scripture . . . promises leading to His perfect assurance for our well being.  We participated in massages, facials, hand treatments, foot spas, and great Biblical teaching.

April Women's Retreat - The retreat was an overnight entitled "Bloomery" where our women "blossomed" in faith and in friendship.  It was held at Conference Point Center in Williams Bay, Wisconsin.

June Seasons of Faith Event -    This year we celebrated Seasons of Faith for Women.  Women came to celebrate their Birthday and the season of their life in Christ.  We learn through the verse of Ephesians 4:15 "speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into Him, who is the Head, that is, Christ."  Three women from our church family spoke on the season of their life in Christ. 

Our last Women's Ministry breakfast was with our speaker Mary Hamrick from Dragonfly Ministries.  Mary's topic is Matthew 28:19 - "Go and make disciples of all nations".   If this commandment brings up emotions of anxiety or fear, you are not alone.  We uncovered secrets of living a life of obedience and the overwhelming blessings that follow.
