Vacation Bible School - July 27th-July 31st    6 to 8:30 pm      Grab your kids and come down to the Bayou for Crocodile Dock, where  kids will keep an eye out for God in action in their everyday lives.  Crocodile Dock is buzzing with fun and a few friendly crocodiles.  They'll learn from fireflies, spoonbills, possums and turtles how they can be a God Sighting by showing God's love to others.  Come by with your kids for dinner at 5:30 pm and enjoy a meal together without rushing around trying to get everyone out the door!  (There will be a $5 charge per family per night.)  Then, either stay around and help or come back and pick them up at 8:30 pm.   Registration begins June 1st and anyone who signs up before July 6th will get a prize!  Go to www.groupvbs.com/webtoybox/myvbs/lgccvbs to register or to view and sign up for volunteer opportunities.  Keep checking back for more information.

August Women's Ministry Breakfast - Saturday, August 15, 2009 at 9:00 am - Come and enjoy breakfast and fellowship and hear Sharon Oxley from The Global Heart Links Project, which sells hand-painted greeting cards in Northern India with 100% of the profits going to community development in India.  Also, Mattie Phillips from the Jesus Word Center Church in Lawndale, Illinois, will speak about their outreach ministries in the Lawndale community.
