Passage to India
Want to have an international experience and help someone in the process? Then be our guest at "The Passage to India" dinner.
Home of Love is an orphanage and school for abandoned and at risk girls in Chennai, India. It is a place where they have a safe, loving home and also receive an education to develop into young women who can contribute to their own well-being and have a productive future.
There are many other girls in Chennai who are still in need of help from a place like the Home of Love. Donations will help the Home of Love expand and support even more girls--through the construction of new facilities, providing new school materials, paying teacher salaries and many other ways.
The founder of the home, Martin Alphonse, will be present to share the story of how it all got started. Please be our guest for an evening of authentic Indian Cuisine, great music, silent auction and to hear the story of how these girls are thriving against all odds. Saturday, May 2nd, 6:00 pm in the Community House. There is no cost although donations/contributions will be accepted Sign up here.
